Looking after it

Silk flowers, so there's no watering and nothing to wilt. A shake and a dust now and again is the whole job.

Hang it somewhere sheltered — under a porch or an overhang, out of full sun — and it'll come back out looking the same year after year.
The detail

About this one

Warmer and quieter than the sunflower one. Rust chrysanthemums and peach hydrangea with cream sunflowers, maple leaves on the turn, red apples through the middle and a copper satin ribbon trailing down.

This is the one for short evenings and a lamp on in the hall — the coppers pick up the light.

About 40 cm across, on grey willow.
